Playing Irish Hot Potato
We baked a red potato and got it quite hot and then turned on some fast irish music and showed the kids how to play Irish Hot Potato. The game was a hit!
Finally opening up the treasure
At this point, Rivers had been crying most of the party cause she didn't get to find ALL the clues herself. Gotta love it. We had this party with 2 of my friends and their kids, so there were 8 kids there ranging from 18 months to 12 years old and the younger kids had a really hard time coping while the older kids got to the clues first...:)
Finally seeing the treasure
This was PRICELESS seeing the looks on their faces when we opened up the buried treasure!
Digging up the Buried Treasure in the Sandbox
At the end of our scavenger hunt, the kids' clues spelled out the words "SANDBOX" so they headed out there and dug up the buried treasure.
