So, we have made a family decision to try to relocate to Kauai in May of this year! We are feeling a little crazy (since our house is presently a COMPLETE wreck) but we are ready for a new adventure, and our kids are little, so why not? Our goal is to get our house on the market the beginning of April and to move as soon as it sells.
We are also trying to make the decision of whether or not to ship all of our stuff out there, or to put it all in storage and buy what we need once we get there. There are so many pros and cons to both options, we'll just have to see what pans out!
I'll have to post some pictures of what our house is looking like right now, so it will be evident what a long way we have to go before we can put that for sale sign in the front yard!
